In preparation for the Nigeria Women Football League Premiership season, Edo Queens of Benin have officially unveiled Abdulrasheed Mariam Ayorinde.

Abdulrasheed, who was formerly with Rivers Angels, but the attacker will now ply her trade with Edo Queens.

She will wear the Jersey no.18 for Edo Queens in the coming season. She was instrumental for the Moses Adukwu tutored side at the just concluded Betsy Obaseki Women Football Tournament, finding the back of the net once.

The former Falconets player is an experienced attacker, who has played for Ibom Angels, Nasarawa Amazons, Confluence Queens and most recently Rivers Angels.

Edo Queens will host FC Robo Queens in matchday 1 of the NWFL next Wednesday at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium by 6pm.
