Edo Queens Football Club of Benin delivered a dominant performance against Heartland Queens of Owerri by defeating them 2-0 at the ongoing Governor Diri Douye, female football pre-season tournament holding in Yenagoa Bayelsa State.
Zainab Olapade, was the star of the show opening the scoring in the 3rd minute with a clinical finish from a header.
Chioma Moses, sealed the 2-0 victory in 18th minute of the first half converting a losed ball into the opponent’s goal.
Edo Queen’s performance was marked by sharp attacking play, disciplined defence, and controlled possession throughout the 90 minutes of play.
Despite the emphatic victory in today’s match, Edo Queens and Abia Angels now have the same number of points from two matches each.

Heartland Queens managed to come back into the game in second half but Edo Queens defence was also equal to the task.
